A well-stocked first-aid kit is handy to have! We hear stories all the time about emergency accidents that happen without access to a temporary medical aid. In order to be prepared for such occurrences, it is vital that every individual has access to a first-aid kit in their home and car. The Med Life Plus team either assembles first-aid kits or purchases them beforehand for delivery. Typical items in the kits include 2 absorbent compress dressings, 25 adhesive bandages, 1 adhesive cloth tape, 5 antibiotic ointment packets, 5 antiseptic wipe packets, 2 packets of aspirin, 1 emergency blanket, 1 breathing barrier, 2 pairs of nonlatex gloves, gauze rolls, gauze pads, and a first-aid guide.
Med Life Plus has invented new portable medical information (PMI) kits! Emergency personnel require patient's important medical records with easy access. In emergency medicine, it is essential to gather these records quickly to determine potentially life-saving treatment during someone’s medical crisis. These PMI kits are wallet-sized portable pouches with a medical information form that the recipient fills out and places in there. The kits can be attached to a keychain, so that paramedics are able to treat patients in on-site emergencies with efficiency and ease. Med Life Plus uses an authorized medical information form template and hand-assembles these kits.
Want to learn how to use the first-aid and portable medical information kits? Med Life Plus offers kit training sessions for the recipients! We have a group of medical professionals and specialists that are sent out with a few high school volunteers to help individuals understand the uses of these kits, how to use each item, and other medical information necessary to make full use of the equipment. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we accommodate for in-person and virtual training sessions!
