Med Life Plus (MLP) is an international non-profit organization that seeks to donate first-aid and medical information kits to homeless shelters, senior living centers, day worker centers, and impoverished communities and districts across the world. We strive to make a difference by improving access and affordability of medical supplies and enhancing efficiency during emergency treatment.
MLP partners with districts and villages in Cambodia (Kampot), Mexico (Mexicali), Africa, and local organizations: the Salvation Army Emmanuel House, Sunday Friends, Day Worker Center of Mountain View, and Sunrise Villa Senior Living.
While volunteering throughout my childhood, I recognized firsthand the lack of first-aid kits in homeless shelters, senior living centers, day worker centers, communities, and impoverished districts. I was motivated to donate first-aid kits to treat illnesses and injuries in emergency situations, and the portable medical information kits worldwide to help paramedics treat patients on-site in emergencies.
Combining my passion for teaching and serving others, I help raise the funds for our first-aid and portable medical information kits through tutoring middle and high school students. Between teaching the students and donating the items, the experience has been unimaginably enjoyable. The work we do would not be possible without the leaders of our partnering international districts and managers of local organizations who allow me to donate these items to their communities.
An immense thank you to everyone who has helped me throughout the process!
